Just three hours north of GTA is Chalkley’s Sandy Bay Cottage Resort. Located on the shore of the beautiful and renown Lake Nipissing you can experience some of the best fishing around. Our self-catering, well equipped cottages will not only give you a place to rest your head, but a comfortable and spacious experience on your next vacation.
On the lake, you can find northern pike, muskie, pickerel, perch, bass and other species, all in one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. If you enjoy fishing on the lake, we offer forty and fifty-horsepower boat rentals. For those of you who enjoy ice fishing, we have competitive weekend packages which include a heated three-bedroom cottage and the next morning we’ll transport you to one of our spacious propane-heated huts set over some of the most fertile water that the lake has to offer. Some of the most active fish during these times are walleye, northern pike, perch, herring and whitefish.
Other perks of our wonderful destination include gas barbeques, microwaves, satellite television and flat screen TV. We have a playground for children and gazebos for relaxation, gamesroom, badminton, kayaks and canoes, along with individual fire pits at every cottage. Fish cleaning facilities onsite.
